Please allow us to introduce ourselves...
OoA lives and dies by three basic
principles; have fun, be helpful, and progress. We believe
strongly in trying to
help all members advance through the game in the manner they most
enjoy, and that ultimately people's enjoyment is greater than the
guild's progress. And the bottom line is that the "Golden Rule"
is something we try to not just talk about around here, but live by.
Now that TBC has been out for over a year, we find ourselves
splitting time between getting people
gear and badges out of heroics and Karazhan, running ZA for bears, finishing up Mount Hyjal and moving into the Black Temple. Woot! We
continue to discover the collaboration required and the challenges
brought with the new instances, and we're loving it! We've been slowly expanding our membership
with folks that agree with our philosophy, and growing into a guild
that can tackle these new end-game instances regularly, and meet with success. After all, where's
the fun without killing new stuff!?
We currently raid Tuesday and Thursday
evenings
from 6:30 - 9:30 PST, with other days being reserved for "cleanup" of
Karazhan, Zul'Aman and such. Our guild consists of mostly adults
who have significant real life responsibilites, hence we choose not to
have 'required' raids more than twice per week. We run DKP for
the 25-mans, while Karazhan is on farm for us (we a simpler "attendance
based" system
for Karazhan to settle any loot issues).
And finally, since we are on a PvP
server where would be the fun without some of that ally-killing
goodness?! We have quite a contingent that enjoy team-based
PvP on a daily basis, and a few arena teams as well.
As mentioned above, we are currently
looking to expand our guild with select classes, but more specifically
with folks that agree with our philosophies. We currently have
90+ guild members and 180+ characters, and all races and classes are
represented. Should you be
interested in joining us, please click on the Recruitment & Application
tab and read it over. Feel free to drop in on our Public forums
as well (and post any questions you may have), and have a look around
at the rest of the site. FOR THE HORDE!!
