Formed out of a disbanded guild by three strangers in 2006, Out of Ashes has relatively long history in terms of WoW's existence.  Throughout this history the guild has morphed and changed, but has always tried to keep one thing at the top of the list.... treat people how you would like to be treated (a.k.a. the Golden Rule).

In it's current state (as of Winter 2012), OoA went through a major shift and made the final step away from 25-man raiding.   We now run 2 x 10M groups (on alternating nights), and focus on both 10M groups being equally successful, and encourage our members to challenge themselves to play the best they can (in multiple roles).   We expect a dedicated raider to at the very least bring two specs to the raiding team(s), and preferably two toons.  Our focus is team flexibility, performance and success!

We currently raid Tuesday-Thursday evenings from 6:30 - 9:30 PST, and our loot is distributed on a "Need if you need" system with the expectation that people are looking out for the raiding team as a whole, and not just themselves.  Loot whoring = there's the door.   Drama = there's the door.   We don't like you = there's the door.
